  1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2002 (XP).
  2. Click on 'Tools > E-mail Accounts' in the 'Toolbar'.

    1. An 'E-mail Accounts' Dialog Box will popup.
    2. Check 'Add a new e-mail account' radio button.
    3. Click 'Next >' button.
    1. Check 'POP3' radio button.
    2. Click 'Next >' button.
    1. Enter into the 'Your Name' textbox the name you would like to appear on the e-mails.
    2. Enter into the 'E-mail Address' textbox your FULL e-mail address.
    3. Enter your account name into the 'User Name' textbox. ( Note: Your account 'Account name' is your FULL e-mail address.
    4. Enter your password into the 'Password' textbox.
    5. Check the 'Remember password' checkbox, if you would NOT like to be prompted for your password everytime that you check your mail.
    6. Leave the 'Log on using Secure Password Authenitication (SPA)' checkbox UNCHECKED.
    7. Enter the E-mail Server's names into the 'Incoming mail' and 'Outgoing mail' textboxes. ( Note: the both use the same E-mail Server Name )
    8. Click 'More Settings...' button.
    1. An 'Internet E-mail Settings' dialog box will popup.
    2. Check the 'My server requires authentication' checkbox.
    3. Click the 'OK' button.
  3. Click the 'Test Account Settings ...' button.

    1. A 'Test Account Settings' dialog box will popup.
    2. This will test each of the settings that were just entered, a green check will appear next to each 'Task' if successful.
      (Note: If any red X's appear in the 'Task', click close and check your login settings and repeat this step.)
    3. Click the 'Close' button.
  4. Click the 'Next >' button.

  5. Click the 'Finish' button.

  6. Congratulations, you have successfully setup your Microsoft Outlook 2002 (XP).
